is really funny...sometimes you're hit not once or twice but uncountable times...

FOOD REVIEW!!!!

Spice Sutra Restaurant & Cafe this is my first ever food review on my first ever camera.... i hope i don't offend anyone or anything... here goes... 1. i think this place is a bit difficult to miss because the shop's display lights are not very bright. but it's the same row as thomson community centre and it's only a few shops away... 2. i think the setting of the restaurant is great! they paid attention to every detail. right after we sat down, the waiter lighted a candle for us. on this elephant candle holder thing. which is really exotic and beautiful. the lights are very warm and romantic. even the songs they play in the background are romantic love songs. =) 3. the service is the best. i commented on the great service and the manager said that he tells his staffs to never leave an empty glass on the table. my water has never been refilled so many times! i also heard a girl choking on the other table and a waitress instantly went over to offer help. really good 4. food wise - really good. i've tried a lot of north indian restaurant. but i have to say the naan here is the best! and they have a wide variety of different types of naan. i wanted to try everything but was too full. i've yet to come back and try more things and i will comment again. chicken mansuri is also really yummy. i ended up eating more than half of it. 5. i asked the waiter if i could take pictures of the restaurant and he let me!! so nice. sadly, the place is not very populated yet because it's still very new. only 3 months old.... 6. anyone can eat at this restaurant. because it's halal. however, they sell alcohol so there's no halal sign... they also cater to vegetarian. so everyone can eat here. and that's the end of my review. i hope you guys enjoy eating there as much as i did! i'm definitely going back there next week! =)

my 25th birthday

was way more than what i expected!

on the 18th, i met up with linda from ocbc. she passed me 2 presents. one from her and the other from ariana and hwee hong. i don't even know how they knew it was my birthday! turns out, ariana was the one who remembered it and told them about it.
=)

linda had lunch with me and we ended up catching up on so much. she and ariana were my best friends in ocbc.

linda gave me this soft pillow. and she's so cute. she said i'm the girl on the right and she's the girl on the left because she's shorter than me
=)



ariana and hwee hong gave me a handphone dangling thingy...i don't know what it's called lar...but it's so sweet and cute!!!


left work about 11.50pm and lily wished me a happy birthday in advance

and when i got home, i saw yet another surprise on top of the sewing machine. it was a present from my landlord - cherlyn. she took so much effort to do the present. she's a professional photographer and won prizes and stuffs before.....so she printed out one of her pictures and made a card for me!
=)


and this wallet as a present. it's really nice and i like it a lot
=)


so, those were the 3 things that i received that night even though i had to work late....
nearly 12...


and before i went to bathe, cheet called me from london and wished me as well!

on the 19th itself,
i had 2 more surprises
=)

firstly was at work...
christele bought a cake and told everyone that they were going to surprise me in the meeting. but before that, lily already bought a cake!


so we had double cakes!
=)

and since kumi was leaving that night to japan for her wedding, i blew balloons for her the previous night and they brought all the balloons in!!! so funny....
then forced us to take picture together. my face very the shy...
=)


after that, a group photo of everyone in CSG....except sunarti who was sick that day...



and alvin, the only guy in the group, very cute! he went to pour christele's hot green tea on the dried ice so that there will be smoke...then he said to make the ambience nicer...


so cool hor?

at night, i had another surprise from ming
=)

he came to look for me at work
and we had pepper lunch for dinner.



then, he got me an ice-cream cake. the exact same one i had in the afternoon......
and i ate half of it ok...
i was super close to vomitting. serious.............


and the 'happy birthday' plastic thingy is on my keyboard at work...i stuck it at the top right after scroll lock button. cannot remember what button that is....

but everyone at work always ask me...why got happy birthday on your keyboard

loads of ppl wished me that day...5 chee, ah cheng, eva, abby, bindiya called me, soon, premmy, nishita, su, jia jun, eunice, ah kent koko, rajkumar, 3 chee etc etc i cannot remember all...and the last person who called me around 8 plus was my father!!!

on the 20th, yet another 2 surprises.......


firstly would be su came to work that day and she gave me a present! which is a really nice bag which can be made to sling for weekends when i go back home! it's from her and lily
=)



and that night, i went to stay with my sister. then she said she wanted to go zouk and do i want to follow. i said no...don't want...you know i don't like clubbing and stuffs...so she left
and i went to bathe. and then i was brushing my teeth when i felt somebody staring at me. so i turned back and i saw my brother!!!

he came up for me and she went to fetch him! so nice!!!


on the 21st, i went to gc and learnt to make momo

they say i'm quite good for a first timer. hehehe



ok. hope premmy doesn't kill me when she sees this photo...not that she doesn't look good. she does but just that she's not dressed to the nines..

anyway, on the 22nd i had yet another surprise....
my sister and brother wanted to go sing songs...so i'm like ok! let's go! then we went to eat lunch first at this place called saizeriya. it's really good and quite affordable. go try it ok! liang court.
then, suddenly saw my grandfather. then i'm like eh why is ah kong here? my sister said oh i was going to the toilet then i met him halfway...then i was like oh ok. then we ordered lunch and all that...sekali....


my aunty and cousins came and i was like........errrr
ok........
turns out, they came for my bd
hahahaha

after that, we went roaming around and we started playing with the seats at central....
very fun eh...
k i'm clearly very fat d. all the biscuits at work and milo and hot chocolate and chrysanthemum tea and soyabean and limeade...
sigh..........

after that, we had to send my bro back to malaysia

and we raped him!!!!

on the 25th no more surprises. it was our usual monthly (or so we try) cousin's dinner... and i had 2 more presents!

one is a magnet from 4 chee



and the other is a hippo! from ah kent koko which can record your voice.

a new baby is born...............



a baby so sleek so powerful so compact so pro....
